Since Barry and I were out of town this past weekend, we didn't get to do our normal grocery run on Sunday afternoon so we could pick up food, and of course fruit, for the week. This meant we were pretty much out of everything. On Wednesday afternoon, I think it finally dawned on John that he didn't receive a banana all week because as soon as we pulled up in the driveway, he started saying "nana..nana" over and over. I knew I was going to the store that afternoon, so that just made me speed up! :) When we walked in, I made sure I grabbed a lot of other groceries first since I knew once we hit the banana aisle, we would be stalled for a bit while he had one. :) This is where the pictures below come into play....I've added a little naration just in case you were wondering what he was thinking. Heh! Heh!
Look mommy...I think those are bananas!! See, right there...where I'm pointing.
Oh my gosh!!! They are bananas...I just heard mommy say the word!! I'm so excited!
Time for a delicious bite....I definitely dont't want a puny bite, so here I go!
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....that is so good!!!
I don't want any delicious morsels falling out of my mouth, so I better push them back in with my fingers. There's been a banana ban in my house lately, so I better enjoy it while I can. :)
I hope everyone enjoyed the mini slideshow...now you can understand a little more on why I love talking about John and bananas. :)
