Snow in Texas!!!

I have been meaning to post more pictures from the snow fun in Texas.  We had more snow than I've ever seen here and John had a blast!!! Now, before you look at the pictures, you must understand that it is not common to have snow like that here and I was not properly prepared with snow attire for my little boy...mainly snow shoes.  So, being the creative person I am (yeah right!), I opted for the fashionable Target bags to place around John's shoes to waterproof them.  I must say, they worked quite well, but I was chuckling at how pitiful he looked trying to run in those things.  Oh well, John stayed super happy and didn't mind his ghetto snow boots.  :)

Big Boy Bed!

In January, we finally decided it was time to transition out of the crib and into a big boy bed.  We had talked with John for a few months telling him that he could get his big boy bed when he started wearing underwear all the time.  Well, once we dangled that bit of information out there, he took to potty training like a champ! He was wearing big boy underwear every day in January with hardly any accidents.  So, the front of the crib was removed and his big boy bed remained.  Here's a few pictures of that first encounter.  :)

Outside fun!

Within these last few months, we've had quite a few cold days.  But, that hasn't stopped John from going full force outside and enjoying every moment.  Enjoy the pictures!

Here's where John was looking for daddy with his water gun while Daddy was "hiding."

I think he found him!!!!! :)

Valentine's (A little late) :)

Well, seeing that I haven't found much time at home to blog and post pictures, my postings are arriving a little after I had intended.  :)  One thing I wanted to share was about Valentine's this year.  For the last couple of years, me and my good friend Leah have been preparing Valentine's baskets for our little ones that are from each kiddo.  So John gives one to Lily and Lily gives one to John.  We received the cutest basket from Lily this year that had the most adorable pictures and I just had to share!! Also, please note that they will be married one day, so we are just helping them start the "dating" a little early.  :) (my scanner was acting goofy, so forgive me for the extra large white space around the picture).
