Cabinet Fun!

I know most of you have seen the youtube video of John playing in the cabinet, but here are a few pictures of the cabinet fun that happens in our house almost every night! He just loves standing up in the cabinet and opening and closing the door...quite hilarious! The cabinet just barely fits him..if he gets any taller he will be bumping his head! Who knew a cabinet would be such an entertainer for an 18 month old???

John's 1st Girlfriend! (sort of...)

Ok, I know know...I am a cheesy mom! My good friend Leah has a daughter (Lily) that is 4 months older than John. They go to the same daycare and were in the same room for only a short while when they were infants (that's how I met Leah...over an embroidered bag I bought at Canton...but that's a long story that explains why shopping is so important and brings new friends into your life!) :) Anyway, Lily would always move up to the next class and right when John would move in, they would move Lily to the next one. Right now John is in the 18-24 month class and Lily is in the Two's class even though she's not quite two yet. Anyway, Leah and I have this great plan for Lily and John to marry one day. They are just so adorable together...and that's the main factor in choosing a mate, right? :) So, we being cheesy mom's together, planned a play date for our kiddos with a babysitter. This day also included Leah and I heading to Canton to shop for more bags which is how our friendship started...what a neat circle, huh? :) The babysitter was Ms. Jennifer from the daycare and so both our kids loved her already. She spent the day playing with them and reading stories and took a few pictures while we were away. I've posted them below and just think they are the best "awwee!" pictures! :) Enjoy!
