There is not a lot to report since my blog last week...but I must mention that John is such a good baby at entertaining himself. He got a new car from Mawmaw and Daddy John this weekend that plays "Rock Around The Clock" when you push a button on the top and also moves forward and backwards by pushing buttons on top. Well, John just LOVES this car and played with it all weekend long...he would just walk around the house with the car under his arm and get so excited when it would play the music, even dancing at times (that will be on video soon so I can share!). He even played chase and ran with the car...only to hide behind the door in the laundry room and peek out laughing (hence the picture behind the door). He would just laugh and giggle and then start the music over...needless to say, mommy had Rock Around the Clock playing in her head all during the night and in my dreams! :) I know this is payback somehow for all the noisy toys we've bought for friend's children over the years...how did I know they didn't want them to have a drum set??? :)

I know what you mean about the toy tunes. We've discovered the beauty of duct tape.;-)
